BAC PRO Dental Prosthesis

The holder of the Dental Prosthetics speciality of the vocational baccalaureate is a qualified technician who carries out his activities in the sectors of:

- manufacture of made-to-measure medical devices such as dental prostheses,

- design, manufacture, industrialisation of products or services for dental prosthesis professionals.

This technician carries out his activity as part of a team in compliance with environmental, health and safety conditions at work. They are able to adapt to changes in work materials, products, processes and techniques. The activity of the holder of this diploma requires:

- comply with the regulations concerning the Public Health and Social Security Code, and more particularly the traceability of materials and the control of manufacturing protocols,

- comply with the regulations concerning health and safety at work, and more particularly the traceability of materials and the control of manufacturing protocols,

- comply with the regulations concerning health and safety at work. - comply with health and safety regulations and adopt compliant behaviour and attitudes, with a view to guaranteeing the safety of people, equipment and products,

- demonstrate autonomy and responsiveness, to cope with the diversity of technical activities,

- demonstrate care, meticulousness and dexterity,

- keep abreast of scientific, technical and economic developments for his/her sector of activities,

- train for these various developments.

- Professional technology and morphological drawing

- Maxillo-mandibular total prosthesis and orthodontics metal partial prosthesis, fixed prosthesis and CAD
